Ferahan carpet (Persia), end of the 19th century Dimensions : 270 x 140cm. Technical characteristics : Wool velvet on a cotton foundation. A navy field, jagged, serves as a support to a vegetal trellis composed of stylized multicolored flowers, forming a tangle of compositions in starry cross. Two pistachio borders with stylized garlands frame the main brick with a succession of geometric plants in polychrome.
