Rare and antique ISPAHAN carpet (Persia), from the 18th century Dimensions : 203 x 132cm. Technical characteristics : Wool velvet on a cotton foundation. An old gold field serves as a support to a garden of Eden. Magnificent lotus flowers frame a delicate, varied and polychrome floral tangle where two flowering vases are enthroned. Deer, felines and reptiles brighten up this heavenly decor. Two cherry-colored borders with small flowers frame the main sky blue one with exuberant multicolored flowers. (Carpet of collection)
