Fine ISPAHAN carpet on silk chain, (Persia), circa 1930/40 Dimensions : 232 x 144cm. Technical characteristics : Wool velvet on silk foundation. A delicate ivory, emerald and navy floral rosette is placed on an old rose field with fine ivory and bluish flowering stems. The main sky blue border is framed by two navy and ivory counter borders. All four being with vegetable continuations.
