Skeleton clock, circa 1800
The large driving wheel, containing the barrel in its center and composed of five "Y" spokes, makes one revolution in two days, driving, via a pinion, a wheel making one revolution per hour, itself driving an escapement wheel.
The ring-shaped dial is enamelled with Arabic numerals and encircled by gilded bronzes decorated with interlacing friezes, crosses and pearls, with openworked handles.
The whole mounted on a beveled glass plate resting on a marble base, with bronze fixings.
